Canaan Bound Shares the Gospel in Song while traveling the country singing their original Southern Gospel tunes and lively melodies.  Songwriter and Founder, Gary Crawford, has been an essential part of keeping the group together through the 25 years of ministry.  Gary started writing in 1982 and God has inspired a hundred plus songs since that time.  Through the years the group has seen many members come and go, but  Gary always kept the group growing and moving forward.

Currently Canaan Bound consists of five members and their wonderful families.  Keith Schneider sings bass and he and his wife, Theresa, have two lovely children, Kolby and Rachel.  Jeff Miller is our baritone, he and his wife Vondra have two children, Drew and Stephanie.  Lee and Mary Oaks have taken the group to raise as our senior members and try to keep the group in line; Lee sings and plays rhythm guitar.  Gary Crawford sings lead and writes all of the material for the group and his wife, Peggy, takes care of all the bookings and finances.  Their son, Justin, carries on the tradition singing high tenor and acts as the groups spokesperson. Canaan Bound is more than a singing group, it is a family. The members and their families get together on a regular basis and enjoy playing and fellowshipping outside of the ministry dates.
